This application is NOT a commitment to a team, nor is it a guarantee of an assignment to a team. All students interested in joining a team should agree with and strive toward living out the mission of the OSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry.
Leadership Team Descriptions
ENCOUNTER (WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAM)
-Plan and lead weekly large group worship service on Thursday nights
-Worship team and tech team
-Set up/tear down
CONNECT (FRESHMEN MINISTRY TEAM)
-Lead small groups of freshmen and facilitate discussion at Connect on Tuesday nights
-Invest in the lives of freshmen throughout the week
-Connect freshmen with other students and upperclassmen
COMMUNITY GROUPS TEAM
-Lead a small group Bible study during the week
-Invest in the lives of upperclassmen
INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY TEAM
-Invest in the lives of International students
-Lead Bible studies, conversation classes, and share culture
MEN’S MINISTRY TEAM
-Invest in the lives of men at OSU
-Lead Bible studies
-Plan and execute men’s ministry events
WOMEN’S MINISTRY TEAM
-Invest in the lives of women at OSU
-Creatively facilitate relationships with the women of the BCM
-Plan and execute women’s ministry events
EVENTS TEAM
-Plan and execute events to cultivate community within the BCM
-Be hospitable at these events through welcoming, serving, and talking with those who attend
HOSPITALITY TEAM
-Create a welcoming environment at BCM events
-Show care and intentionality in serving students
CREATIVE TEAM
-Help with the creative needs of the OSU BCM through video, photo and graphic content.
-Work on the social media content, video content and graphic content, website editing and any logistic systems for the BCM
